Water Bucket: Draw a Line, Send the Water Home
📚 Game Guides: games picked by genre, one page each
What is Water Bucket?
Water pours from a tap and the bucket is never directly below it. You draw the path it travels on, and since the physics are honest, a bad angle or a sloppy slope spills the lot.
How to play
Every line you draw becomes a solid surface the water can run along. Once the tap opens the stream follows whatever you built, and your target is filling the bucket up to the marked level. Spill the water and you retry the stage, while using more lines than you need costs you stars. Later stages ask you to bounce the stream off a platform to change its direction entirely.
Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Drag with mouse | Draw a surface for the water |
| Drag with finger | Draw the water path on a phone |
Tips
- Catch the stream where it first lands, a short slope there is usually the whole solution.
- Feed the bucket at an angle rather than straight down, water dropped flat splashes back out.
- Before you restart, watch where the stream is lost and fix your line at that exact point.
Frequently asked questions
Is the number of lines limited?
Drawing extra lines lowers your star rating, so solving a stage with few lines is the real goal.
Do the stages get harder?
Yes, more obstacles appear as you go and steering the water around them takes more thought.
