PlayPair: Match the Sports Cards Before Time Runs Out

What is PlayPair?

Balls, rackets, helmets and other sports gear hide under the cards laid face down on the table. You turn two at a time and hunt for the pairs carrying the same item. Every level is timed, so remembering is only half the job.

How to play

Click a card and it flips to show the piece of sports gear underneath. Then you open a second card: two of the same stay up and leave the board, while two different ones both close again. The aim is to pair everything before the clock empties. Clear the table with time still on the counter and you move on to the next level.

Controls

Tips

• Open the cards in order from left to right rather than at random, so you hold the gear positions row by row.
• When a new item appears, store it together with its place, as in 'racket, end of the top row'.
• If you already know where a pair is, collect it straight away and save the rest of the clock for exploring.
