Snow War .io: Take Aim Across a Snow-Covered Arena

What is Snow War .io?

A cheerful scrap in an arena buried in snow. Your character gathers snowballs while running and you throw them at everyone else. Snowballs are the only weapon, which makes the whole game about aim and evasion.

How to play

Move around the arena with W A S D, and the moment you let the keys go your character throws the snowball in hand along the direction you are facing. Aiming therefore means turning the right way first, then stopping. Rivals do exactly the same, and a string of hits takes you out of play. Running over the snowy ground builds more snowballs, so ammunition never runs dry but you do have to keep moving. Every rival you hit adds points and lifts you up the standings.

Tips

• Since you have to stop to throw, do it behind a snow bank rather than out in the open.
• When a rival runs at you, do not stand still. Break sideways and throw the second they stop.
• Close the gap instead of throwing from range, because a snowball slows in the air and a distant target drifts aside.
