Backyard Car Parking: Open World Parking Practice
📚 Guide: 3D Car Driving and Parking Games
What is Backyard Car Parking?
More than a parking test: the map is a whole neighbourhood with petrol stations, garages and narrow side streets. The job stays the same, which is placing the car in the marked bay with one clean movement.
How to play
The arrow keys cover throttle, brake, reverse and steering. Drop to walking pace as the bay comes up, then pull a car length past it and back in on an angle, which is far easier than aiming straight at the gap. Hitting a wall or another vehicle spoils the movement, so stop often and fix your angle. The task completes once the car stands entirely inside the lines.
Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Up / down arrow | Throttle and reverse |
| Left / right arrow | Steering |
| Down arrow (held) | Brake |
Tips
- In reverse, turn the wheel towards the side you want the back of the car to go; stop and look again if it confuses you.
- Tap the throttle in tight spaces, because steady pressure always carries the car too far.
- Approach parallel to the painted lines, since arriving at an angle adds two or three extra movements.
Frequently asked questions
Is parking all I do?
Parking tasks are the main part, but between them you can roam the map freely and visit places like the petrol station and the garage.
What happens if I damage the car?
Collisions make the task harder, and the cleanest result comes from finishing the movement without touching anything.
