Alien Catcher: Two Agents, One City, Aliens to Trap Alive
📚 Game Guides: games picked by genre, one page each
What is Alien Catcher?
A fresh wave of aliens has landed in the city and the two of you are the response team. You run a pair of agents together, slowing the aliens with lasers and closing them in with capsules.
How to play
Every level asks you to catch a set number of aliens alive. Chasing one down never works, so you slow it with the laser first, then drop the capture capsule or a trap at the right moment. Agents can hide to slip out of an alien's attention. Split the jobs between you, with one agent herding while the other sets the trap, and levels finish far quicker.
Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| W A S D | Player one moves, F fire, S hide |
| Arrow keys | Player two moves, down arrow to hide |
| J / K / L | Player two: laser, capsule, trap |
| Phone | Built around a keyboard, so a phone needs an external one |
Tips
- Set the trap where the alien is heading; drop it on top of one and it simply turns away.
- Hiding is not only for escape, it is the simplest way to ambush an alien passing close by.
- Two agents running in circles let every alien escape, so one herds and the other closes the door.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to kill the aliens?
No, the point is catching them. The laser only slows them down.
How does the two player mode work?
Both agents move on the same screen, one on W A S D and the other on the arrow keys.
