What is Stack Tide?

This is a stacking game run by physics. Shapes drift in from above, and you rotate them and drop them to build a tower that stays clear of the sea. Every piece that misses and falls in makes the water climb faster.

How to play

The incoming block drifts left and right at the top of the screen. Line it up, rotate it if you need to, and drop it. Because the block falls under real physics, a crooked landing can shove the piece underneath out of place and tilt the whole tower. Each piece lost to the sea raises the water level, so a miss punishes you twice: you lose height and you lose time. The game ends when the tower goes under or topples, and your score is the height you reached.

Tips

  • Save the wide flat pieces for the base; spending the thin pointed ones early leaves the tower wobbling from the first rows.
  • Once the tower starts leaning, put the next block on the opposite side to balance the weight instead of building higher.
  • Never rush a drop you are unsure about, because a piece lost to the sea costs far more than the seconds you save.

Frequently asked questions

Levels or endless?

It is an endless stacking game, so the goal is not clearing levels but pushing your tower past your own record.

Why will the block not sit flat?

The game uses real physics. Once a piece lies crooked, every block on top widens the slide, and it takes a balancing piece to fix it.
