SUSHI CHEF: Spread the Rice, Slice the Roll
📚 Game Guides: games picked by genre, one page each
What is SUSHI CHEF?
You are behind a sushi counter with the ingredients laid out in front of you. Rice, nori, fish and vegetables become one kind of sushi after another, and each one goes onto the plate.
How to play
The game puts you at the counter and spreads the ingredients out. The flow runs like this: prepare the rice and spread it over the sheet of nori, cut the fish and vegetables and lay them in a line, roll it up and slice it with the knife. Arrange the pieces on the plate, add the sauce beside them and the plate is done. You move forward by touching whichever ingredient is glowing, and a finished plate takes you on to a new variety.

Tips
- Take the knife through in one pass at the slicing step, because a half cut piece will not stand on the plate.
- Lay the rice down before the filling when you roll, and the roll comes out much neater.
- Do not overfill it, since a roll packed to the edge falls apart while you wrap it.
Frequently asked questions
I know nothing about sushi, is that a problem?
Not at all. Every step is shown visually and following along is enough.
Which device suits it best?
It has a portrait layout so a phone is more comfortable, though it plays fine with a mouse.
