Dune Surfer 3d: Draw Your Own Line Down the Dunes
📚 Game Guides: games picked by genre, one page each
What is Dune Surfer 3d?
A surfer slides through the dunes and your drawn lines decide where. In the air the character tumbles like a ball; the instant it touches your line, it starts surfing. One clean run down the sand is the whole ambition.
How to play
Hold the mouse button and sketch a path in front of the surfer, and the moment the line is done the character rides along it. Angle the line downhill to pick up speed, or tilt it upward to launch over a gap. Touching a white obstacle ends the run instantly, while the sand mounds shelter you for a while. Your aim is to reach the end of the dunes without a single crash. Release the button and the surfer simply falls until the next line.
Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Hold left click | Draw the line to surf on |
| Drag with finger | Same motion on a phone |
| Release the mouse | End the line and fall freely |
Tips
- Draw short lines instead of one long one, so a sudden obstacle still leaves you room to change direction.
- A downhill stroke adds speed, but in a crowded stretch a short uphill stroke is the safer option.
- You have no control while airborne, so pick your landing spot before you launch.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make the line as long as I want?
No. Each line runs out after a certain length, and then you have to draw a fresh one.
Does the game ever end?
Obstacles get denser the further you get. The point is to travel as far as you can without crashing.
